Two-day open air music festival in Haslingden this weekend


Music fans are in for a treat this weekend with a two-day open air festival coming to Haslingden Cricket Club, Haslingden, Rossendale, Lancashire.

South Pennine Records Music Festival’s October Fest will be held on Friday and Saturday October 8-9.

Sponsored by The Hut – Rossendale Street Food, the family-friendly event promises to be the biggest yet put together by Sebastian Walsh and Paul Entwistle, working alongside Gareth Williams.

Revellers will be able to enjoy live music across both days, while enjoying some tasty food vendors such as Momo’s Dessert & Milkshake Bar, Spousey’s Sip Coffee Shack, The Hog Roast & Burger Bar.

Friday’s live music includes Hungry Bently, Jim Rhodes, SAF, Katey O’Malley, Dead Cherry, The Marbellas and Homegrown.

Saturday kicks off with Navigator, followed by Homegrown, String Box, The France, Armadillos, Dylan Austin, Suave Martyrs, The Concordes, Design Rewind and Special Guest.

You can get some delicious baked goods provided by Cake Ocean Uk and Snoozybooth’s who provide sweet delights for those sweet tooths. There will be gluten-free and vegan options for everyone too across the stalls.

Day tickets from 2pm to midnight on Friday or 1pm to midnight on Saturday are priced at £7, with a weekend ticket priced at £10.
