Music industry disruptor turns to workspace specialist Level to identify larger offices

GigPig, the music industry disruptor, has grown by taking over a larger workspace at Manchester’s Bridge Street studios.

The company, a management and booking platform that connects musicians to venues, recently raised significant pre-seed capital.

Workspace consultancy specialist Level has secured the new office contract for GigPig, which has moved into the fully leased studios on Bridge Street.

Kit Muir-Rogers, co-founder and head of sales at GigPig, said, “Given our recent growth and increased headcount, we needed a flexible office arrangement that would reinforce our strategy of expansion in the UK.

“Level understood our requirements in full and efficiently provided us with a new home from which to grow. In fact, that’s the impression Joe Averill left on us, GigPig has appointed Level as our exclusive estate agent as we pursue our UK expansion plans.

Founded in the first quarter of 2022, Level uniquely represents tenants to find suitable workspaces for their employees at the best value for their business. He does not represent any landlord or sell his office space.

The company has already secured a range of deals for start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs and corporates across a wide range of sectors and is currently expanding its presence in London and Leeds.

Founder and real estate entrepreneur, Joe Averill, said: “Before launching Level, it was clear in my mind that the office market needed equalization. Tenants need it upgraded and that is what our mission will always be.

He added: “We have advised companies including Modern Milkman, Venditio, Kitman Labs, INEVITABLE, Fairmont Recruitment and GigPig. And we enjoyed every second because we know there’s no one else in Manchester who represents tenants like we do.

GigPig’s office at Bridge Street Studios is on a flexible 12 month lease.

Real estate development and investment firm Watch This Space is run by Michelle Rothwell.

She said: “Our development goal at Watch This Space is to take ordinary tired spaces and create amazing places and I’m thrilled that’s what we’ve achieved at Bridge Street Studios. It is an environment where people are inspired.

“It’s also wonderful news that GigPig has chosen to move in with us in their exciting time of growth and expansion.”
